Dr. Craig Shapiro is board certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. He has been practicing in South Florida since 1994. Originally born in Detroit, Michigan then moved to South Florida where he finished Middle and High School. After High School, he graduated from The University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science. Dr. Shapiro obtained his Doctor of Osteopatic Medicine from Southeastern University of Health Sciences which is currently Nova Southeastern University. He completed a one year rotating internship at Botsford General Hospital in Farmington Hills Michigan. Dr. Shapiro completed his ENT and Facial Plastic training at The Philadelphia College of Osteopatic Medicine and Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
During his time in practice, Dr. Shapiro has held elected positions as Chief of Otolaryngology Department of several hospitals. Currently he is the Chairman of the Otolaryngology Department at Memorial Regional and Memorial Pembroke Hospital. He also holds a position on the Board of directors of South Florida ENT Associates PA and is the Medical Director of Broward Specialty Surgical Center. As an assistant clinical professor at Nova Southeastern University, he lecture and teaches medical students and family practice residents.
Dr. Craig Shapiro in innate English speaker and fluent in Spanish, his practice delivers care to adults and children from all ages.
